CHANGE TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Shareholders are advised that with effect from 19 August 2025 Naspers’s non-executive director, Mr Cobus Stofberg, retired from the board.
He was a member of the founding team of the M-Net/MultiChoice pay-television business, which began in South Africa in 1985. He served as financial manager, chief operating officer and chief executive of various companies within the Naspers/Prosus group from 1985 to 2011, and was at the forefront of the group’s expansion internationally. From October 2013 he served as director of Naspers, and since August 2019 also of Prosus.
Koos Bekker, chair of Naspers and Prosus said: "Cobus was absolutely pivotal to the development of our group. We owe him a huge debt of gratitude."
The board thanked Mr Stofberg for his commitment and significant contributions to the group over many years. His views and unique insight were highly valued and will be missed.
